Hello Bloggers!

I would like to start off by sending a congratulatory shout-out to our very own Ben Roethlisberger for becoming the second-youngest quarterback to win two Super Bowl Championships!

Our final deadline for admission in the Fall of 2009 has passed and those students are now awaiting our Regular Decision notification date of March 15, 2009. For students whose applications were deferred in our earlier reviews, a lot of questions have surfaced regarding anything additional that they might be able to do in order to help their application. Students are encouraged to send additional items that they feel would benefit their application. Some examples include: sending us updated grades which may show improvement, new ACT/SAT test scores - if we do not have a higher score, and an additional letter of recommendation that will state something new about you that the other letter(s) may not have said. Most importantly, make sure that if you do send anything additional, it is sent by the deadline we gave in your notification letter. If you continue to have questions, do not hesitate to contact your admission counselor directly, we will be happy to help you.

Scholarship and financial award letters will be mailed at the end of March. We send these after all students have been admitted in order to make the distribution of scholarships fair to everyone. This means that no matter if you chose to apply for Early Decision, Early Action or Regular Decision, your packet will be mailed at the same time. This includes both merit and need based scholarships.

I hope you all have a fantastic week!

Diana
