So I confirmed my enrollment. Now what?

Congratulations to all the seniors who confirmed your enrollment and chose Miami University. You logged into the accepted students website and filled out the housing and meal plan contract, along with submitting your deposit. So now you may be wondering what do I do before I move into the residence halls in August? For your convenience, I have provided you a list of the next steps. As always, if you have any questions, please let your counselor know: www.muohio.edu/askacounselor.

· Register for Orientation
Throughout the month of June there will be 16 one-and-a-half day orientation sessions for first year students. You need to register for one of these sessions. Some sessions are already starting to fill up, so I recommend logging into the orientation website, www.muohio.edu/orientation to learn about the details and register as soon as possible.

· Take the Math and Foreign Language Placement Exams by May 10, 2009
During Orientation, you will meet with an advisor to plan classes for your first semester. To help with the planning, all students need to take the Math and Foreign Language Placement Exams. Even if you took AP or post-secondary courses in these subjects, you are still required to take the placement exams. You can find the links to the on-line exams from the New Student Programs website: www.muohio.edu/orientation/placement.

· Mail your Medical Form by May 15, 2009
Each student needs to fill out a medical form before you can enroll in classes. You can retrieve the medical form from the Student Health Services website: http://www.units.muohio.edu/saf/shs/Forms.htm. You will find a PDF of the form in the blue box on the right side of the website. Print the form and mail it to the address listed on the upper right corner of the form.

If you have additional questions, you should check out the accepted student website, http://www.muohio.edu/accepted and log into www.mymiami.muohio.edu.

Take care,
Brian
