It feels like a ghost town…

Today marks the first official work day without any students on campus. Although for faculty and staff this means no lines uptown at our favorite restaurant, it gets just a little too quiet around here.

As Admission Counselors, this also means that all of our incoming Fall 2009 class should be registered for orientation and we get to concentrate on future Miamians. In addition, our summer hours begin today through the month of August. So, if you are interested in stopping by, we are here (even though the students, faculty and some staff are not) from 7:30am-4:30pm.

Even the weather knows that it’s a quiet day here in Oxford, being that it’s cloudy, rainy and the high only reaches up to 60 something degrees. All will be well next week when our summer tour guides and summer classes begin!

As for us, we look forward to planning our travel season in the fall which is when we visit high schools in your town and college fairs!
