Miami University offers a metro bus system to all students who want to get around a little quicker. Transportation is available to and from the Oxford/Hamilton campuses, uptown Oxford, and various places around the Oxford campus. Miami University recently received a grant to expand its Metro destinations! Starting in fall of 2010, Miami Metro Busses will occasionally provide transportation to and from Wal-Mart in Oxford as well as Jungle Jim’s International Market in Fairfield, OH. This exciting change will allow students who do not have cars to do some extra shopping in their free time, especially if students are browsing for international food.
