Miami University will be welcoming a Mobile Health Initiative this week to Oxford. The unit is a prototype for student health promotion on college and university campuses around the nation. The mobile unit is a student-run, student-focused project that is designed to help college kids become more aware of their own health, and health issues in general. The unit will also utilize “hands-on” and interactive experiences to help students understand health and wellness issues. The unit is funded by The Ford Foundation, along with a partnership with Armor Mobile Systems, to improve the health of students throughout college campuses. For more information, contact Reginald Fennell at 513-529-3226 or fennelr@muohio.edu.
